Overview

Are you a maintenance worker with a local or state transportation agency? Are you interested in learning new skills and expanding your knowledge in the latest road and bridge innovations and best practices? If so, then Minnesota LTAP's Roads Scholar Program is for you.

The Roads Scholar Program combines a range of training options—LTAP and CTAP workshops, maintenance expos, and more—into a structured curriculum. Graduates earn a valuable professional development credential.

To become a Roads Scholar, you need to earn eight credits within five years from a combination of required and elective courses.

Your accomplishment won't go unnoticed. When you complete your final course, Minnesota LTAP will send confirmation letters to you and your supervisor, and a press release to your local newspaper. Graduates for the year are honored during a ceremony at the Minnesota Spring Maintenance Training Expo and announced in the summer issue of our newsletter. And the Minnesota LTAP Web site features graduates.
