Traffic Signing and Control

Registration

Mail or fax your registration or register online no later than one week prior to the program. Preregistration allows us to contact you if the workshop must be postponed due to weather or other factors. A refund of the registration fee, minus a $30 cancellation fee, will be made if written cancellation is received at least five working days before the workshop. Who Should Attend

This workshop will be useful for engineers, sign supervisors, maintenance workers, contractors, sign material vendors, sign design consultants, and elected officials responsible for the installation and maintenance of small traffic signs. If your job involves following the various sign standards and doing a good job of installing and maintaining small traffic signs, then you will benefit from this workshop. This workshop will not duplicate the material presented in the workshop entitled Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MMUTCD) Training conducted in May and June 2003 and will not focus in detail on work-zone traffic.

Credit

  • 1.0 Roads Scholar Program required credit
  • To the best of our knowledge, this course/activity meets the continuing education requirements for 6.0 PDHs as outlined in Minnesota Statute 326.107. More information concerning continuing education for professionals is online at www.aelslagid.state.mn.us.

Instructor(s)

Frank Peloubet has more than 20 years of experience in sanitary engineering and water-related areas. His background includes 10 years as a wastewater and storm water utility manger, plus experience with the North Dakota environmental regulatory agency. Peloubet has worked on municipal and county drainage projects with a local engineering consulting firm to design culvert installations, and has taught water- and transportation- related courses. He is a graduate of North Dakota State University.
