Mowing Smart

A new one-pager—Mowing Smart: A Cost-Saving and Eco-Friendly Policy—is now on the Minnesota LTAP Web site. This policy, condensed from the 2007 Mn/DOT Maintenance Manual, is intended for use by state, county, and township road maintenance authorities and is endorsed by Mn/DOT and the DNR. The primary emphasis of this policy is to reduce mowing of roadsides to a minimum, which will reduce costs and help the environment.
