This training series is intended to serve as a resource on the fundamentals of roadway design. It is made up of 29 courses consisting of video segments, interactive illustrations, examples, and exercises.
Originally produced in the 1990s, the series has been updated to reflect current design standards, best practices, and technology. Design professionals, entry-level engineers, and engineers who want a refresher are the intended audience.
The series is available online for you to take anytime that is convenient. It’s free for Minnesota local agency employees and $50 for other participants. The series was produced by MnDOT, and Minnesota LTAP is administering it.
