Interested in becoming a work-zone instructor for MnLTAP?

Minnesota LTAP is looking for qualified instructors in Greater Minnesota to teach on-site work-zone safety and traffic control training. Potential candidates will have experience in work-zone traffic controls as well as the desire to share that experience to improve roadway safety. Previous training experience is desired but not required.

Coaching will be made available to assist any instructors who need additional support. If you are interested, please submit a short biography of your experience in work-zone traffic controls and training to Mindy Carlson, MnLTAP’s interim director.

Our idea is to have instructors around the state who can train neighboring agencies in any particular region. “We are asking local agency managers to share this request with employees, both current and retired, who may be interested in providing this instruction,” Carlson says. “And we would greatly appreciate it if agencies would provide release time to current employees to provide this valuable training.” Please forward any questions to Carlson. Thank you!
