Local Agency Transportation Internship Program

The Local Agency Transportation Internship Program (LATIP) is a new initiative designed to connect local agency employers across Minnesota with current university students pursuing careers in the field of transportation. LATIP aims to provide cities, counties, townships, and tribal agencies with assistance in attracting and developing the future workforce and to give students experience with real-world transportation projects.

The program is sponsored by Minnesota LTAP with funding from the Minnesota Local Road Research Board (LRRB) and is administered by the Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Minnesota.
