2021 Demo Day Virtual Series: Drones—Another Tool for Maintenance and Operations
The City of Fridley entered the world of drone operations with the addition of a new staff member who was a licensed drone pilot. This opened several possibilities to enhance and expand the city's public works operations and maintenance activities. This presentation will explain how Fridley is using a drone in public works, the obstacles and unforeseen complications, and how city staff have used the expansion of drone flights to help see things differently and increase efficiency.
The event is part of the 2021 Minnesota Roadway Maintenance Training and Demo Day Virtual Series.
