
Officials in counties, cities, and townships of all sizes must respond to concerns and questions regarding traffic operations and safety. This symposium will help those who are responsible for addressing traffic issues in their jurisdictions by providing information on basic traffic engineering practices. Attendees will be given an opportunity to bring up for discussion specific traffic and transportation situations or problems they face or have faced in their community.

This workshop is intended for managers, staff personnel, and administrators responsible for traffic and transportation operation, safety, and funding. This includes city, county, and township engineers and staff, public works and public safety administrators, city council and county/town board members, and other local elected officials.
