MnLTAP's work-zone safety training program, upgraded in early 2024, includes both in-person and online training opportunities. These offerings are designed to improve work-zone safety for local agency staff at all levels, from seasonal employees to supervisors.

New! Introduction to the Minnesota Temporary Traffic Control Field Manual for Highway Workers Webinar Series
This five-webinar series, originally broadcast in February and March 2024, introduces highway workers to the Minnesota Temporary Traffic Control Field Manual and explains how to apply its concepts and standards in order to provide appropriate temporary traffic controls for their work zones. Coming soon! How to Survive a Visit to a Highway Construction Zone
This workshop will review the fundamentals of work-zone safety for highway construction zone visitors before they arrive at the job site. It will address many of the hazards inherent in road and street work, instruct visitors on how and where to park, explain what high-visibility garments are required, discuss how to be aware of equipment and operations, and outline how dangers can be minimized to stay safe.
